  2. the vegetation which is found in acidic soil
  3. xerophytes
  4. epiphytes.

Answer

(1) the vegetation which is found in marshy and saline lake

Solution

As per NCERT, in some plants such as Rhizophora growing in swampy areas, many roots come out of the ground and grow vertically upwards (pneumatophores).

⇒ These roots help to get oxygen for respiration, since the waterlogged saline mud is poor in oxygen.

∴ Pneumatophores are found in mangrove vegetation of marshy, saline places.
