Four radial vascular bundles are found in : -

  1. Monocot stem
  2. Dicot stem
  3. Dicot root
  4. Monocot root

Answer

(3) Dicot root

Solution

In roots, xylem and phloem lie on different radii alternately, i.e. the vascular bundles are radial; stems have conjoint bundles.

As per NCERT, the dicot root has two to four xylem and phloem patches, while the monocot root usually has more than six xylem bundles (polyarch).

⇒ Four radial bundles (tetrarch condition) are therefore found in the dicot root.
