Solution

As per NCERT, 120/80 mm Hg is the normal blood pressure (systolic/diastolic).

⇒ If repeated checks show 140/90 mm Hg or higher, it is hypertension; high blood pressure leads to heart diseases and also affects vital organs like brain and kidney.

∴ 130/90 mm Hg is not yet treated as hypertension, 100/55 and 105/50 mm Hg are low (not ideal), while 190/110 mm Hg is severe hypertension that may harm the brain and kidney.
