Ques. 1JEE Main 2024, 27 January (Evening Shift)

For a certain thermochemical reaction M N at T = 400 K, = 77.2 kJ mol-1, = 122 J K-1, log equilibrium constant (log K) is − 10-1.

Answer

37

Solution

G = H - T S

= 77200 - 400 122

= 28400 J mol-1

G = -2.303 RT K

⇒ K = - 284002.303 8.314 400

= -3.708 = -37.08 10-1 ≈ -37 10-1

Answer: 37
