C. Incorrect – the primary acceptor of electrons, located towards the outer side of the membrane, transfers its electrons not to an electron carrier but to an H carrier.

D. Correct – NADP reductase enzyme is located on the stroma side of the membrane.

E. Incorrect – protons are removed from the stroma (used to reduce NADP+), so their number in the stroma decreases.
